S.O.S. is here to encourage the women of Believers and our local community to come together for the cause of Christ. Opportunities are provided during the year to bring us together to develop lasting friendships, to grow in the Word of God, and to build character and a passion to reach others through Christ.

Our Vision
We know that many women in our community are “still in the water” and are distressed in life. As a ministry of women helping women, the S.O.S. Team seeks to work with women to meet the needs of others in our community. We recognize the distress that women face while being a stay-at-home mom, or raising children as a single parent, or balancing the roles of the working woman, all while facing daily challenges and life struggles.
What is S.O.S. all about?
We affirm that, while not all women are mothers, all women are daughters. We also affirm that while all may not have a sister sibling, all women are sisters. We all share many things in common that make us as interwoven as fibers in tapestry and we celebrate the many differences that make us as individual as our own fingerprints. By participating in S.O.S. projects and activities, we hope to introduce and meet new sisters often. Seeking Out Sisters is a ministry encompassing ladies 18 and older (some activities are open to all ages). We are dedicated to growing in the Lord, extending ourselves to others, sharing God's word, growing closer through service to others, and sharing our lives together in love and fellowship.
