Care Connection

"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people,
especially to those who belong to the family of Believers."
Galatians 6:10

What is the Care Connection?
The Care Connection is a growing group of about 60 individuals and families who provide meals and extend compassionate care to the families of our church during times of need. We respond to funerals, births, hospitalizations and extended illness. It is a small way to show we care, but one that has proven to be a blessing both on the giving and receiving ends.

How was the ministry born?
One of the main reasons people attend a particular church is for the fellowship and community they experience within the church family. We identified a weakness in this area when one of our members suffered the loss of a grandparent. The grandparent attended another church. That church responded without being asked and provided a meal for the day of the funeral. The family was able to attend the funeral without having to worry about food or supplies for all of the people visiting afterward. It was a blessing to the family and the church members. It gave the church an opportunity to pull together as a family. It was also a tremendous testimony to those who do not know Christ. Helping to meet basic needs and pull together as a church family helps to show the world what Christ looks like in a tangible way.

How can I become a part of the Care Connection?
We are always looking for people to join the Care Connection Team. Our church is steadily growing and so are the needs of the members. If this ministry sounds like a good fit for you, chances are your spiritual gifts are in the areas of service or mercy.
