Connections Ministry
Have you ever had the feeling
you were meant for something more?
Yeah, we do too! That’s because we were shaped to serve God, and we do that by serving others! Each of the eight areas here offers a "first-serve" volunteer opportunity; areas in which you can experience serving without making a full commitment up front.
Hospitality Team
Do you believe that first impressions can make a huge impact? That creating an accepting, inviting – and safe – environment is a must? Great! So do we! There are a number of places in which you can help create that welcoming environment here at Believers! You could be a first-contact for our guests in several areas including at-the-door greeter, parking lot attendant, information center host, or by serving our guests coffee in our Café.
Facility Focus
Are you an "aesthetics" person? Does keeping things looking good and running well give you a sense of joy and accomplishment? It takes dedicated volunteers to help with the behind-the-scenes effort of facility maintenance and administration. Volunteers in this area help in lawn care, building maintenance and cleaning, as well as administration and organizational support.
Community Impact
We invest a great deal of effort to make Believers a safe place for people to learn about what God’s best is for their lives. But did you know the church has left the building? We’re out there, in the thick of it, making an impact in our community. No one is immune to the possibility of falling on hard times. Whether it’s within our Believers family or the community, you can help support those in need by donating items such as clothing and toys, making meals, or serving with our HELP Ministry at Oasis.
Worship Arts
Do you ever think to yourself, “Those people on stage every week must be professionals!” ? Granted, they perform at professional levels, but they’re volunteers…just like you! Explore the many teams within our Worship Arts program to find your fit. You can get involved with the praise band or vocal teams; drama or Expressive Movement teams; and many others. If being in the spotlight isn’t your thing, but you really enjoy the Arts, you should check out the technical teams – lighting, audio/visual, graphic design and more.
Children's Ministry
Are you still a kid at heart? Do you enjoy working with kids? Then, our Children’s Ministry is the place for you! While the adults are attending our worship services, numerous volunteers create an awesome atmosphere of learning and worship for children who attend Believers. You can serve our guests and regular attenders by caring for their newborns to 5th graders. Come out and make a difference in a child’s—and parent’s— life!
Student Ministry
Are you an adult who has a passion for helping teens learn how a relationship with Jesus can help them face the pressures and challenges they face each day? 4real, our student ministry, is designed for junior and senior high school students; they meet every Sunday at 4:30pm. Small Groups are also part of 4real Ministries. If you are someone who wants to make a significant contribution in the life of our young people, let us know and we will get you connected.
Resource Center
Do you have great Customer Service skills? Do you have a contagious smile? Volunteers are needed in our Resource Center to engage our guests and assist in finding the right book, CD or DVD to further help them in their journey.
Technical & Skilled
Are you a computer whiz or number-cruncher? Do you enjoy working on a PC or networking computer? Are you an expert in accounting or finances? To produce the quality effort that you see every Sunday morning requires highly capable volunteers to offer technical and skilled support to our staff. Technology is an important part of what we do at Believers and if that is your niche, let us know.
