Encore, Anyone?

And just like that, Easter is a wrap!

Admittedly, I woke up afterwards exhausted and wanted to spend the day in bed. Instead, I chose to make good on a promise and praise God for all the incredible things in the Easter season, the things prayed for, and how God showed up in a BIG way!

With Easter in the rearview, you might be asking yourself, now what? How do we follow up on such an amazing season? Don’t worry, you’re not alone. I’ve been praying through this myself and asking God the same questions.

In many ways, Easter can feel like a finish line each year. The Big Day is over, so our job is finished, right?

The reality is every Sunday is a Big Day. Our job—to bring people in our community to a life with Jesus—is never finished.

I encourage you to invite someone to sit with you at church. The goal is not growth for the sake of numbers. It is an opportunity for the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of our One—those outside of faith we love, pray for, and invest in.

There are many opportunities to invite your One to church. Continue investing in them and living out John 20:21, “…As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you.” This is What our World Needs Now!

I encourage you to spend some time praising God for transforming lives this Easter season, while also praying for this momentum to continue throughout the whole year.

Continue being the love and light of Jesus in a world that desperately needs it!
