I know this will make many of you sad; this is the LAST Outlet of 2023! In case you didn’t know it, THIS weekend is Christmas Eve! Are you all ready? Based on the traffic that I’ve seen around here, there are a LOT of people still running around and getting those last things done. If you are one of them, let me offer a suggestion:
Give someone the gift of an invitation to sit with you at one of our Christmas Eve services.
I know, I know. Inviting someone to church can be awkward. It’s uncomfortable for me, and I’m the pastor here! I mean, what happens if they say no? But…what if they say yes?
A friend of mine often tells the story of the person who first invited her to Believers more than 25 years ago. She said yes, and her life has never been the same. She and her husband both love Jesus; they raised their kids here, and both of their kids love Jesus. Their kids are both married to people who also love Jesus, and they are raising their kids to do the same! It’s like a whole new family tree was planted with that invitation. She has participated in all kinds of BeGroups through the years, led BeGroups that have helped others in their walk with the Lord, served on several Impact TEAMs, and will soon lead as one of our new elders! All because someone gifted her an invitation to sit with them at a service at Believers.
You’ll never know what is at stake with an awkward invitation…until you ask!
We have 3 identical services to choose from: Saturday, December 23rd at 4:30 and 6:00PM, and Sunday, December 24th at 10AM.
I’m praying that whoever you invite will say yes! Looking forward to celebrating Christmas with you this weekend.
